Disposable camera photo walk

On the 29th of april, 2023 we in Oslo.SPC invite you all to a disposable camera photo walk in Oslo.

You’ve heard of photo walks before, but this one has a twist: you can only use a disposable camera. In three hours you have to make 36(ish) frames. The camera has a fixed lens, fixed ISO, and fixed exposure settings.

All you can rely on is your ability to make good compositions, and creative photos. Everything else is up to the God of Disposable Cameras.

How does it work?

We meet at 13:00 outside Oslo Foto in Møllergata (Google Maps).

Our good friends at Oslo Foto provides the camera, the development and scanning at a discounted package deal of 300,-. You pay the total to them when you pick up the camera on the day.

Then you are on your own.

We meet up at at specified location at 15:00 where you turn your camera in to one of us in Oslo.SPC. After a few days you can collect your pictures.

After you’ve reviewed your photos, you must select atleast two pictures and send them to us. We will then choose three best pictures and a few honorable mentions.

We will feature them and your name/IG-account on our main account, @oslo.spc, and our personal accounts. We will also post them on our blog on oslo-spc.no.

We will book a table at a bar so we all can enjoy a few drinks together, and brag (lie) about how excellent our photos will be. The venue will be announced after you’ve bought your camera, and we’re ready to start.

We hope to see you there. Good luck!
