Join a vibrant photo community
Oslo SPC brings together photographers in the Oslo area. We organise both public events and events reserved for our members. Join Oslo SPC to make the most of your hobby, and to support our volunteering efforts. Membership is 360 NOK per year. In return you get this:
BI-Monthly meetups.
One evening on a weekday every other month we meet at different places in Oslo. Each time between 15 and 50 people show up to exchange experiences, talk about inspiration and gear, make friends and generally have good time. Two meetups per year are open to non-members. These will also be announced on our Instagram account.
We are easy to find; look for a table with a pile of cameras on it.
15% discount on prints
Our friends at Oslo Foto offer all Oslo SPC members a fixed 15% discount on prints and film development all year round. We are extremely happy to have their support because they are one of the few remaining independent labs remaining in Norway and they do great work at already reasonable prices.
IMPORTANT: The discount is only applicable for orders placed over email or physically in the shop and you will need your membership order confirmation as proof of membership.
Discount on paid events
Oslo SPC also organises bigger events, workshops and courses that have an admission fee, like the Oslo Street Photo Festival in May. These events bring together an even larger crowd and bigger names. As an Oslo SPC member you will always pay less for these events.
4 photo walks every year
Our photo walks are popular events centred around different topics, but always in the city. They typically have a roughly defined route, or a specified start end end point. You choose whether you want to go alone or in a group, but we always meet at the end to talk about the experience and compare what we got. Past photo walks have focused on popular spots in Oslo, night photography and shooting exclusively with disposable cameras (that was a fun one!). The photo walks will usually take place on a Saturday, and we aim to have one for every season.
