tonje sivertsen
Tonje carries her camera everywhere, and she rarely has a clear idea of what she wants to photograph. Instead, Tonje follows whims, intuition, and the light, with an expectation of being surprised. Her approach is to be invisible, an observer who blends into the crowd. She prefers to use natural light and avoids interacting with the people and situations she is photographing. This gives her the opportunity to capture authentic reactions and moments.
Her drive lies in finding excitement and beauty in the everyday, in what often goes unnoticed. Tonje is driven by the desire and urge to spot and capture the extraordinary moments in the ordinary surroundings of everyday life. She has a particular eye for the unexpected and the humorous - but also for the poetic. In 'her book', there is room for a wide range within street photography, from the deeply meaningful to the purely amusing.

Mania De Praeter
Mania works as a neurosurgeon at the University Hospital in her hometown Antwerp (Belgium). She divides her time between Antwerp where she works and lives, and NY, where her partner resides.
Since lockdown, photography has become her other passion besides pediatric neurosurgery. During her free time, she strolls the streets, looking for beautiful scenes, light, and composition. Solitude and minimalism seem to be recurring themes in Manias photography. Although most of her work is in black and white, Mania very much likes color photography too and is a big Saul Leiter fan.
