Take part in the OSPF 2025 photo competition
You can win a giftcard from Scandinavnian Photo, as well as exposure through our online channels. The 50 finalists will also be exhibited at Oslo Street Photo Festival 2025.
The competition is sponsored by our friends at Scandinavian Photo.
The rules are simple
You pay 200 NOK* to enter up to 5 images.
You can only participate once (with up to 5 photos).
This is an international street photo competition.
Both color and b&w photos are accepted. You can even mix if you like.
This is a single-image only competition. Keep in mind that we will not review your images as a series.
The images you submit must be your own work and you must own the rights to reproduction.
We do not accept composite images or AI generated images. Normal post processing to enhance, denoise and clean up images (dust removal etc) is allowed.
The images you upload must be 1024px on the longest edge and tagged with sRGB color space.
By submitting images you grant Oslo SPC the right to reproduce the images in digital or printed markering material intended for promotion of and display at Oslo Street Photo Festival.
You as the photographer retain full copyright of your work and Oslo SPC pledges never to reproduce your work without explicit permission outside the conditions of rule 7 above.
The board of Oslo SPC will pick the top 50 finalist pictures. These will be announced on our Instagram a couple of weeks before the festival and also be exhibited at the festival. We might also announce some runners up.
We will email you directly if your photo is amongst the top 50 finalists. At that point we will request a high resolution version of your finalist image in sRGB color space for print purposes.
Our main speakers will jointly take care of the final judging of the 50 finalist photos.
The prizes
1st prize: Giftcard from Scandinavian Photo: 4000 NOK*
2nd prize: Giftcard from Scandinavian Photo: 2000 NOK*
3rd prize: Giftcard from Scandinavian Photo: 1000 NOK*
*NOK is the norwegian currency. As of 11 April 2025, 100 NOK equals to about $9,3 or €8,2.

11 April - Competition opens for submissions
4 May - Deadline for submissions
9-11 May - Top 50 finalists will be announced on our social media channels
23-24 May - Finalists pictures are exhibited at Oslo Street Photo Festival 2025
24 May - The winner of 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize will be rewarded at the festival and announced through our social media channels
